Alhamdu-lillah, now we have a masjid in the area and we all should make an extra effort to pray whichever salat we can in congregation. Insha-allah there will be someone at the masjid for most of the daily prayers and even if you come and no one is there, then you yourself can establish the salat. Most of us are at home during magrib and isha and even at fajr, so please come and pray salat in the masjid whenever possible. If you need the code for the masjid door then ask any of the MAP board or EC members and we would be glad to assist.
Below is an hadith about the reward of praying salat in congregation.
1064. Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Salat in congregation is twenty-seven times more meritorious than a Salat performed individually.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Think about it this way, it's such an excellent rate of return on your investment. How many of us would surely invest in a halal transaction which is guaranteed to give us 27 times more profit immediately, Allah is giving us that chance, so let's make the most of it.  If you have any questions or concerns, then please contact the MAP Executive Committee at ec@mapitt.org)
